Digital COVID certificates issued by Israel and by the other countries specified on the list below let Israelis travel to these countries and travelers from these countries can enter Israel, subject to each country's policy.

Recognition of Israeli COVID certificates by other countries

The countries below accept valid Israeli COVID certificates. The certificates grant entry to these countries (in some cases a negative test result on a COVID test might also be required) and serve as a Green Pass so you can enter places that must comply with COVID measures in those countries:

What else should I know to travel abroad?

  • Travel to destinations on the red list is only possible if you get permission from the Exceptions Committee, even if Israeli COVID certificates are valid in these destinations.

  • Many destinations also require a negative test result on a COVID test before granting travelers entry, even if Israeli COVID certificates are recognized by these destinations. You must check the local policy of each destination on their respective websites.

Recognition of Non-Israeli COVID certificates by Israel

The countries on the list below issue digital certificates of vaccination or recovery that are verifiable in Israel, making their holders eligible for a Green Pass in Israel.

Digital certificates of recovery that make their holders eligible for a Green Pass in Israel are only those  issued by countries that joined the European Union system.

List of countries

The following countries on this list issue certificates of vaccination or recovery that are digitally verifiable by the systems of the Israeli Ministry of Health.

A digital certificate of vaccination issued in one of the countries on this list proves that the given vaccine is recognized by Israel, and holders of this certificate can enter Israel and receive a Green Pass.

A digital certificate of recovery issued in one the countries that joined the European Union system is given on the basis of a NAAT test result. Holders of this certificate can enter Israel and receive a Green Pass.

Citizens of countries that did not join the European Union system but have a certificate of recovery will not be permitted to enter Israel.
