Orange | At Risk

Guidance on leaving Israel to a country on the orange list

Travel to a country on the orange (at-risk) list is permitted. However, the Ministry of Health advises against traveling to such a country, due to high local infection rates.

Guidance on entering Israel from a country on the orange list

Unvaccinated or noninfected (people who never contracted COVID-19) travelers coming to Israel from a country on the orange (at-risk) list must complete full isolation. 

As of 29.11.2021, vaccinated or recovered travelers with valid Israel Ministry of Health certificates coming to Israel who visited a country on the orange list must go into isolation until they receive negative PCR test result, which must be taken on the third day from entry to Israel (count the day of entry to Israel as the first day of isolation). Those who will not take a test on the third day will have to complete the full isolation length (14 days).

Non-Israeli citizens coming from all countries are not allowed to enter Israel, unless they have permission from the Exceptions Committee.

Yellow | Low Risk

Travel to a country on the yellow (low risk) list is permitted.

Guidance on entering Israel from a country on the yellow list

Unvaccinated or noninfected (people who never contracted COVID-19) coming to Israel from a country on the yellow (low risk) list must complete the full isolation length.

Red | Highest Risk

Guidance on leaving Israel to a country on the red list

Travel to a country on the the red (highest-risk) list is banned for Israeli citizens and permanent residents, unless they get permission from the Exceptions Committee.

Guidance on entering Israel from a country on the red list

All travelers coming to Israel from a country on the red (highest-risk) list, including vaccinated or recovered individuals, will be taken to managed isolation facility, until their PCR test result taken on arrival is negative. If the result is negative, they will be allowed to complete isolation at home, provided they declare they can isolate alone, without any household members or other persons.

All non-Israeli citizens coming from a country on the red list will not be allowed to enter Israel, unless they have permission from the Exceptions Committee.
